Chunhua Industrial Co., Ltd. traces its origins to the Forging and Metallurgy Division of the former Zhuzhou Rolling Stock Factory under CRRC. In August 2004, the company was restructured into a privately owned enterprise.

The company has three majority-owned subsidiaries: Zhuzhou Chunhua New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., Zhuzhou Huamai Intelligence Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Zhongzhou New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.
